This week we have visitors in office, and therefore long hours usually follow, from meetings and as a blend and consequence of traffic and other policies. I have discovered that I find this late stay enjoyable in a different sense. When one works late, there is little obligation to work from home, unfortunately there's little free time in which one does free time things as well. I am not sure what I like better. The blurring of work/home boundaries that working from home brings, is not something I fully am comfortable with.
The weather has been under a cozy cloud cover this week, this culminated in a drizzly Friday, I really enjoyed roaming around near the office in the drizzle.
I also roamed around HSR layout, trying to find a replacement power button for my Pixel since it's power button fell off last week. So far the best quote I have had is of INR 1,000, so advice on better one would be welcome.
My late stays in office have also coincided with a rather noticeable increase in Insomnia, I have probably averaged 4-6 hours of sleep per day this week. Truly regrettable, changing schedules on a whim is not something I should do apparently.
I got Spiderman 2 on a deal on my PlayStation and have been enjoying the game ever since, even though my unfamiliarity with the controls means that I die far more often than I would o PC. Spiderman remains my favourite superhero. It's a classic and I still believe Sony's original Spiderman is the best rendition of the Spiderman story till date.
We now have a debate club at my office as well as well, I attended a debate on insistence of some of my colleagues, the topic was somewhat lame, but we had a decent debate.
This Thursday, we also went out to have expensive (and bland) Italian food, I swear all of European colonialism just makes sense if one looks at their kitchen. If 90% of your cuisine could be made with one cow and two plants, one of which is literal grass and the other is a plant that can barely stand straight. Yeah, I can see why you would want to take over the rest of the world. I now appreciate Asian cuisine even more.
