A Hop, Skip and a Jump
- I missed the weeknote last week, that means, I am due an apology to myself. And in my magnanimity, I shall consider myself forgiven.
- We recently, after several tribulations, and rounds upon rounds of checking, rechecking and verifying have received the Holy Grail, our travel visa. Journey awaits!
- I have learnt to swim in the sea of slop that I am exposed to, still barely managing to keep my head above water. Although I am thankful for the ability nonetheless. I have also had one strange question about LLMs and the generalisation of intelligence
Are LLMs intelligent because language is so omnipotent? Are equivalents like AlphaGO, just constrained by representation?
- I visited Museum of Art and Photography(MAP) with one of my friends, followed by a quick lunch at the Airlines Hotel. It was an exciting journey through three colours of Metro lines across several stations in Bangalore. I am reminded again of how fantastic Bangalore as a city is, and how fortunate I am to have good friends.
- My MAP run, as usual has yielded, and abundance of stickers!
- I finished reading Oxygen by Nick Lane, and have picked up The Emperor's New Mind by Roger Penrose, which I must admit is quite daunting a read on my usual bus commute. Perseverance I hope, shall again be my salvation.
